I've finally managed to stave off artist's block, and this was mainly an experiment in testing my penciling\shadowing skills, which I haven't done in a while because I was too busy trying to learn how to colour with a computer.
The sketch for the body position was made in about 10 minutes before going to bed, and the rest of drawing was amazingly a rush job, done in a mall while waiting for my friends. It took me about 2 hours. I tried to show skin and cloth to experiement with shadowing several types of surfaces.
It depicts my L5R samurai ko character from a java-based chat online game, FRO, Daidoji Yukiko, as she wakes up or goes to bed or something cutesy like that.
